monster feet.

Don't be fooled. In the Summertime, it's quite inevitable - monster feet, a.k.a. boat feet, or gator paws. While wearing flip flops throughout the Summer months doesn't help, here's an easy solution that you can perform weekly if need be.

1. Soak feet for about 10-15 min in warm water. This can be done while in the bath.
2. Exfoliate feet with a pumice stone or a scrub containing granules, like sea salt, sugar, or oatmeal.
3. Repair cracked heels with a bit of olive oil or vaseline if handy. Foot repair creams can be found otc.
4. Moisturize daily with lotion, or if you are prone to dry skin, a thicker, more intensive healing solution like aquaphor is best, & be sure to keep toenails trimmed.

And remember, if you are wearing a sneaker or a slip on & can wear a pair of socks without sacrificing the look, do it. The extra barrier of protection socks provide is essential in hot weather. Moisture & darkness are breeding environments for bacteria; the sock will prevent any unnecessary sweating & friction, which can also lead to blisters.
